Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and outline tailored therapy strategies designed to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday life interactions
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide rounded, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in understanding therapy methods designed to bolster progress at home
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their personalized path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate specializations are highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
