Painter Position

The Tampa Bay Rays are looking for an experienced painter to efficiently undertake a variety of painting projects ranging from small touch ups to painting large offices at Tropicana Field.

Responsibilities:

• Work as self-directed
• Maintain standard in all areas of inside Tropicana Field building
• Set up schedules for painting offices, work and common areas
• Develop relationship with local Sherman Williams store
• Understand and oversee cost and usage of paint and supplies

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of painting experience preferred
• Solid understanding of different types of paints-latex, oil & water base, acrylic, primers, and paints for both inside and outside.
• Knowledge of painting finishes and tools-naps, rollers, brushes, etc.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime
• Able to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment
• Knowledge and ability to use ladders & aerial lifts / not afraid of heights
• Valid Driver's License
