Job Description & Requirements BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Hospice department in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Specialty: Hospice • Discipline: RN • Duration: Ongoing • Employment Type: Staff BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full‑time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in North Bergen, NJ. This office services hospice clients on a per‑visit basis in Essex and Hudson County, New Jersey. Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary health‑care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. Responsibilities Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories. Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care. Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager. Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders. Perform client assessments as necessary. Occasional on‑call after hours and/or weekends. Qualifications A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NewJersey. A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
