Construction Project Manager

Houston, TX A well-established Houston-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of ground-up commercial projects across the K-12, Community, Religious, and Municipal sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking for long-term career growth with a respected builder. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout. Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management. Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders. Oversee project financials, including cost control, forecasting, change orders, and monthly reporting. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate closely with field teams to drive successful project execution. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience operating at Project Manager level with a Commercial General Contractor. Proven experience managing ground-up projects within one or more of the following sectors: K-12 Education Community Facilities Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project controls. Demonstrated history of successful project delivery from inception to completion. Stable work history with strong tenures at previous employers. Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
