This direct hire opportunity is based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work arrangement that blends in office collaboration and remote flexibility. Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per year Work Schedule: Monday through Friday during standard business hours Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Defense Paralegal: Support attorneys in the insurance defense practice by handling case activity from initial intake through trial preparation Draft and prepare routine legal documents while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain organized documentation across multiple active matters Gather, review, and analyze records from various sources to support case development and strategy Conduct factual research and document searches to assist with case preparation and evidence review Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Defense Paralegal: Experience working in a legal support role within insurance defense or a related litigation environment Strong ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and organization Proficiency in drafting legal documents and reviewing case materials with accuracy Research skills with the ability to locate and interpret relevant information efficiently Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with attorneys and legal staff Why Join Us?
