Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice in Aspen, Colorado. The successful candidate will work on high-stakes litigation involving critical mineral and energy projects, collaborating with experienced partners and engaging with federal and state agencies. Duties Collaborate with partners on complex litigation matters. Engage with federal and state regulatory agencies. Handle water rights and permitting reviews. Defend litigation on federal and state permits. Requirements 3-7 years of environmental law or general litigation experience. Interest in mining and water rights. Administrative litigation and regulatory experience preferred. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to excel under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Teamwork and collaboration. Critical thinking and problem-solving.
