Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Burn Trauma ICU position requiring trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience and TX/compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Burn Trauma ICU within a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in ICU and 4:1 in PCU
• Uses critical care equipment, including Burn ICU and Trauma ICU technology
• Performs procedures such as wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP
• Utilizes Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7P-7A
• Requires working 2 weekends per pay period
• Floating required to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any PCU unit

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU experience required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required
• BSN and CCRN preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
