Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: Responsible for the coordination of clinical, management, and business activities by providing leadership for the delivery of nursing care and performance improvement for the trauma injured patient. Supervises and facilitates the operational management of clinical nursing practice, strategic planning, and project initiatives within the trauma program. Exercises management responsibilities through problem-solving and collaboration, independently and as delegated by Trauma Director or Trauma Manager. Oversees all Trauma Nurse Leads, and participates in data analysis, problem solving and coordinating the implementation of processes to assure regulatory compliance with the American College of Surgeons and the respective state trauma designating bodies. Will also work collaboratively with the trauma registry to ensure productivity, validity, and timely submissions.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
• (TCRN) Trauma Certified Registered Nurse

• No Travel Required
• 3 years experience Required Years of Experience in critical care, ER, or trauma
