Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 7–10 patients per day across a wide variety of diagnoses including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
• Deliver general rehabilitation services with a patient-centered approach under the guidance of a lead therapist as needed
• Document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with a rehab tech who assists with patient care support and department operations
• Complete department-specific orientation including Epic training, with mentorship available as needed during the transition to independent patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen
• Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local rate adjustment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric therapy experience is preferred but not required
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Experience treating a diverse patient population including geriatric, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses
