About the Position

Job Title: MS Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in MS/Tele License: SC license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Strong experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias - Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs - Ability to work every other weekend Description: This position is for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. The shift will be 3 days per week from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Patient ratios are 1:5-6. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Tele nursing. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Candidates must be familiar with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Community hospital experience is preferred. The unit is newly established, currently with 10 beds open. Staffing consists of 2 RNs and 1 tech on every shift. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Leadership is available during off-shift hours via phone. Every other weekend is mandatory and non-negotiable. The facility allows for one shift cancellation every two weeks. Travelers should be aware of hurricane season from June to November, as all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. All required documents must be submitted prior to the proposed start date, and RTO must be included at that time.
