Job Description We are looking for an upbeat, solution-focused engineer to join us in designing, optimizing, and scaling next‑generation cloud architectures and big data analytics platforms. Compensation The annual base salary range for this role is $205,000–$242,000 (USD). Discretionary bonus compensation and a comprehensive benefits package may also apply. Required Skills Core Software Development: Strong, hands‑on development experience using Java and Python to build scalable applications and distributed data pipelines. Big Data Ecosystems: Deep technical experience working with Hadoop frameworks for distributed storage and file processing. NoSQL Database Management: Proven experience writing pipelines and optimizing data layers with Accumulo. Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Direct experience developing software within AWS cloud environments combined with provisioning infrastructure via Terraform. Desired Skills Experience managing data serialization and distributed stream processing tools. A proactive approach to troubleshooting big data performance bottlenecks and optimizing cloud resources. Strong communication skills with a team‑first mindset, focused on delivering clear, actionable technical solutions. Education Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field) preferred, or equivalent professional experience with 20 years of experience, or 24 years of relevant experience.
