Respiratory Therapist - Part Time Night Shift

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. Key Duties Provides exceptional patient care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis. Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Educates patients, families, and supports staff development and mentorship. Ensures a safe, quality environment by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and performance improvement initiatives. Participates in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed. Adheres to policies, standards, and evidence-based practices to promote high-quality care. Performs additional duties as assigned, maintaining professionalism and compliance. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science; associate's degree required, bachelor's preferred. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computers and healthcare databases. Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and certified in Respiratory Care. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, with instructor and provisional statuses as applicable.
