Custodian I - 3rd Shift ISC BuildingThe University of Iowa Health Care's department of Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff. The University of Iowa Health Care offers a generous benefits package. Characteristic duties and responsibilities include general cleaning, trash removal, stock supplies for cart and custodial area, clean and disinfect restrooms/refill restroom supplies, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floors, carpet cleaning, unit/bed making, wall & ceiling washing, furniture moves and room setups, use various types of custodial equipment in performance of duties, and other tasks and duties as assigned. Position may have Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Risk. This position is performed fully on campus.About Environmental Services: We as a department are responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of over 2.8 million square feet of the hospital. The department provides support through 24/7 operations.
