Overview Position Summary... What you'll do... Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician Role At Walmart, we’re expanding our workforce across local retail stores and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. The role supports and oversees repair within the Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Responsibilities Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities. Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by performing work according to Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently. Minimum Qualifications 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located Benefits Competitive Compensation Sign-on bonus (for select locations) Health plan options (including vision & dental) Walmart discount Work vehicle and tools provided World-class training Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, parental leave) Short-term and long-term disability 401k with company match Eligible to participate in Associate Stock Purchase Plan Live Better U education benefit program Compensation The hourly wage range is $23.00 - $45.00 with potential premiums based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
