Responsibilities:

As a massage therapist at Hand and Stone, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide expert massage therapy services tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Create an excellent experience for members and guests through a friendly and professional attitude.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance overall well-being.
• Build strong relationships with a diverse client base.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
• Promote member referrals and memberships to build clientele.
• Enjoy a schedule that includes weekends, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements:

• Adhere to all massage therapy licensing laws and regulations.
• Current massage therapist license in good standing.
• Carry massage liability insurance.
• Strong technical massage skills and knowledge of various modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends.
• Knowledge of Swedish massage is required.
• Knowledge of other modalities (e.g., deep tissue, myofascial, prenatal, trigger point, reiki, etc.) is a plus but not requiredwe provide training in all modalities!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
