Program Analyst

Program Analyst (SAMD)Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst to perform a variety of program support functions to the CECOM Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities include:Providing program analysis support to Weapon Systems Managers (WSMs) in support of Foreign Military Sales Cases.Maintaining records, updating spreadsheets, trackers, and taskers.Pulling reports and data from DOD and FMS databases.Working with team members and outside agencies to identify discrepancies and track down resolutions and answers.Verifying accuracy of reporting information and working to determine what data is missing or inaccurate.Initiating and resolving reporting discrepancies.Tracking changes to FMS cases, summarizing significant activities for management reports.Supporting tasks, including providing back-up assistance for report generation and data input.Compiling source documents to support visibility and tracking of FMS case execution.Updating and maintaining internal databases and Excel spreadsheets.Tracking deliverables and financial data.Developing and implementing logistics program activities including support for purchases, transfer, and leases of weapon systems, and technical documentation.Data entry and reporting reviews.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 0-5+ years of relevant experience.Experience working in different types of database systems.Prior DOD experience preferred.Experienced with Microsoft Office software suite, in particular Excel.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.Highly organized with the ability to see both the details and the big picture.Commitment to quality customer service and customer's needs with a dedicated attitude that ensures mission success.Position requires travel, including OCONUS.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.Target salary range is between $55,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
