Job Description

Qualifications:

BSEE with 3-5 years of industry experience
Automation equipment design experience with stepper and servo motors
Motion control experience including PLC and DeviceNET
Experience with vision systems and optical monitoring systems
Power distribution design and control (high/low voltage)
AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
Familiarity with SEMI standards, NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79
Industry experience in semiconductor, disk drives, or solar preferred
Strong understanding of electrical architecture and subsystem integration
Ability to design electrical control panels and interconnect systems
Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

Support design of custom automation equipment and develop electrical architecture for automated systems
Design and integrate subsystems, components, vision systems, and sensors
Create detailed designs for interconnects, cables, wiring diagrams, and electrical control panels
Support prototype build, test, and troubleshoot activities
Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79 requirements
