Qualifications and Experience:

• Active North Carolina teaching license in Special Education, or eligibility for a reciprocal license if certified in another state
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but newly licensed educators are encouraged to apply

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide tailored instruction in elementary classrooms

• Engage with parents, therapists, and support staff to foster a strong educational support team
• Monitor, track, and report on student progress, making instructional adjustments as needed
• Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development to stay current on best practices in Special Education
