Care Van Driver - Per Diem

Job Summary Hours range from 7:30am - 4:30 pm M-F. This is a per diem position and will be as needed. Responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our clients. Essential Functions Follows Care Van schedules and communicates with staff regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation. Assists clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner. Communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the appropriate staff. Ensures that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current. Follows outlined safety protocols in emergency situations. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required; Medical Examiner’s Certificate for Fitness to Drive (C-DOTMED) - National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners required; Personal Drivers License (New Hampshire) - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required. Experience: Patient Transportation Experience 1-2 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently and/or as a team member; excellent customer service skills; strong communication skills; ability to perform work in a creative, energetic and self-directive manner; ability to multitask in a busy environment.
