Monitor infection trends, identify potential outbreaks, and take prompt corrective action./liliEducation and Training: Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices, hand hygiene, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)./liliCollaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and environmental services, to ensure a cohesive approach to infection prevention and control./liliOutbreak Response: Actively participate in outbreak investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement control measures to prevent further spread of infections./liliCompliance: Ensure compliance with infection control regulations and guidelines. Stay updated on current infection control practices and guidelines./liliData Collection and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of infection control data. Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory agencies./liliRisk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to infection control and develop strategies to minimize the risk of infections within the nursing home./liliQuality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection control.
