Regional Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Schaumburg, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Cover Midwest regional dry‑van routes with dependable, home‑weekly schedules from HMD Trucking. You’ll operate modern tractors and dry van trailers on consistent lanes that connect Chicago and surrounding markets, focusing on safety and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate company trucks on regional runs and secure cargo for transport.
• Complete pre/post‑trip inspections, accurate logs, and follow federal/state regulations.

Compensation & benefits:

• $0.70/mi, $2,500 sign‑on, additional orientation and performance bonuses, plus health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and access to a 500+ well‑maintained fleet.

Requirements:

• CDL‑A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
