About the Role:
76 Gas Station/Circle K in Chino, CA is looking for a friendly and reliable Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same. If you enjoy helping people and keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly customer service at the register and throughout the store
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using a POS system
- Monitor and operate fuel pumps, assisting customers with fueling needs as required
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain a well-organized store
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, fuel pump areas, and parking lot
- Verify customer age for tobacco and alcohol purchases in compliance with local regulations
- Perform opening and closing duties including cash drawer reconciliation
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or fuel spills promptly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be at least 18 years of age (required for fuel and age-restricted sales)
