Job Summary:
The ICU Cardiovascular (ICU OH) specialist is responsible for providing high-acuity care in a cardiothoracic intensive care unit. This 26-week assignment involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including days and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role requires delivering advanced monitoring and treatment to patients recovering from complex cardiac, lung, or vascular surgeries, or managing severe cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Job Details:

• Position: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular
• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 04/10/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in the cardiothoracic or cardiovascular intensive care unit; experience with Level 1 trauma, Electronic Health Records (EPIC), and travel assignments; must have a minimum of 2-3 years of total relevant experience.
• Additional Information: Must have a BILH cover sheet at the time of submission. Candidates must be separated from the employing organization for at least 6 months. Weekly orientation is provided. Must wear any color scrubs.
