Clinical Research Coordinator – PITCH Lab The Pragmatic Intervention Trials for Children Hospitalized with Common Conditions (PITCH) Lab at Seattle Children’s is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support studies aimed at improving care for hospitalized children. The lab conducts pragmatic clinical trials evaluating common, real-world medical practices for conditions such as bronchiolitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infection, gastroenteritis, and skin and soft tissue infections. The Clinical Research Coordinator will help manage day-to-day study operations, including participant screening and recruitment, informed consent, data collection, medical record review, survey administration, regulatory documentation, and coordination with families, clinicians, investigators, and multi-site research partners. This role will also support study tracking, quality assurance, IRB submissions, protocol adherence, and preparation of reports or study materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical research environment. Strong communication skills and sensitivity when interacting with children, families, and healthcare teams are essential. Experience with clinical research, REDCap or similar databases, human subjects research, and pediatric or hospital-based settings is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in patient-centered research, pragmatic randomized trials, implementation science, and improving evidence-based care for children hospitalized with common conditions. Compensation Range $29.16 - $43.73 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
