Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington state.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 629 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Teaching hospital environment
• Responsibilities span floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Patient ratios depend on patient acuity
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR experience required
• No on-call required
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Washington state RRT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrub color: any color permitted for RRT staff
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be identified prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
