The Carpenter Journeyman will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesConstructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing.Ability to read and interpret instructions.Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.Read and interpret blueprints.Perform all other job duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsRequired:2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction settingExtensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.Preferred:Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.Must be able to complete and complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors.Must be willing to embrace the company's core values.Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
