Commerce Trust is a division of Commerce Bank.**About This Job**The main purpose of this job is to ensure a timely, complete, and accurate processing of bill payment transactions.**Essential Functions*** Ensure a timely, complete and accurate processing of bill payment transactions* Facilitate all distributions related to the bill payment product offering; responsible for processing and/or quality review of one time and recurring distributions/receipts and cost basis, ensure all compliance requirements have been met and all processing and coding is complete, timely, and accurate* Build and maintain relationships, ensure appropriate controls are in place for all processes related to the bill payment product offering; responsible for identifying accounts with past due bill payments, collaborating with the internal departments to identify clients with additional bill payments that can be serviced* Drive process improvements, maintain documentation, and assist with projects and testing* Work closely with other support teams within the Trust Company to resolve client transactions and with other team members to assist/backup during high volumes or absence* Perform other duties as assigned**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required*** Basic knowledge of wealth management bill payment practices* Strong business acumen and the ability to make timely and sound business recommendations* Excellent customer service skills* Ability to prioritize work to meet deadline and service level agreements* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills* Ability to resolve problems and identify and drive process improvements* Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities* Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values* Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook**Education & Experience*** Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required* 2+ years finance or investment management experience required\*\*\*For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. This compensation range is for the Wealth Management Bill Pay Associate job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
