Epidemiologist for Patient Population Sizing [Remote]

Estimate and validate patient populations for commercial drugs and drug development programs, and design and critique rubrics used to evaluate those programs. This paid pilot focuses on translating real-world data into diagnosed to treated to addressable patient funnels and assessing the soundness of population estimates, with the potential for additional recurring engagements for strong contributors.

• Create and critique evaluation rubrics that analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
• Size patient populations for specified drugs or indications, including prevalence, incidence, and the diagnosed to treated to addressable cascade.
• Assess whether patient-population estimates are sound and well sourced, identify instances of over-counting or under-counting, and document rationale.
• Apply the above tasks across the pilot cohort of drugs and indications, delivering consistent, reproducible outputs.

• US-based epidemiologist, or demonstrable deep experience with the US market.
• Minimum 5 years practicing epidemiology.
• Graduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical development programs.
• Experience converting real-world data sources, such as claims, electronic health records, and registries, into patient funnels and quantitative estimates.
