Middle School English Teacher

Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Applicants must have a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate which includes certification in the area of employment as specified by Bulletin 746, Revised, Louisiana Department of Education or eligibility to obtain. Certification for this position includes eligibility to teach middle school ELA grades 6-8. Gifted teaching positions require a master’s degree and State Gifted Endorsement. Applicants without these credentials may apply and be offered the position with agreement to acquire the credentials within the required timeframe as a contingency to accept the position. This position is currently assigned at Moss Bluff Middle School . Mileage will be paid for itinerate assignments. Applicants should be agreeable to flexible placement and itinerate travel upon reassignment. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the public. Applicants must be able to appropriately administer the district prescribed gifted curriculum. The background check will be done upon employment recommendation.
