Senior QA Analyst

Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a Senior QA Analyst to add to our growing software quality assurance team. As the Senior QA Analyst, you will be responsible for spearheading a team that analyzes product quality of our software applications. You will independently design effective test plans for new features (including acceptance and exploratory testing methods), set up and execute tests in a timely fashion, collaborate with developers to resolve discovered quality issues, and produce clear and actionable bug reports. This role represents the final step in the iterative development process before production release and must maintain a high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Additionally, it will contribute to automated testing solutions to ensure the absence of critical regression defects. Relocation to our state‑of‑the‑art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required. Job Responsibilities Responsible for manual and automated software QA testing Coordinating ticket assignments and collaborating with QA and CRM/4D & Desktop teams to complete assigned tickets Testing incoming software from Development Teams Identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, or content Monitoring bug‑resolution efforts and tracking successes Utilizing Jira for managing incoming tickets and working with a high sense of urgency to resolve software bugs Writing and maintaining automated end‑to‑end tests utilizing modern frameworks such as Cypress and languages such as JavaScript & Python Qualifications Experience testing web or native applications (MacOS) Proficiency in modern software QA best practices (functional and non-functional testing) Effective and articulate communication skills Strong attention to detail with a creative edge to discover defects under various customer personas Team player with excellent collaboration skills A passion for learning new technologies and tools to support testing strategy Knowledge of the Git version‑control system Familiarity with agile development processes and Kanban project‑management workflow is preferred Experience writing and maintaining automated end‑to‑end tests using modern frameworks such as Cypress, and languages such as JavaScript and Python Familiarity with accessibility testing and WCAG standards would be a bonus Familiarity with application lifecycle management tools, including CI/CD processes is preferred Understanding of client/server interaction and network protocols Basic understanding of query languages (such as SQL) and relational database‑management tools is preferred ISTQB Foundation Level certification would be a big plus Sweetwater “Ideal” Team-Player WOWs The Customer – Deep passion and desire for creating amazing customer & colleague experiences Gets Things Done – Great work ethic and moves with a sense of urgency Obsesses over the Details – committed to paying attention to the details Drives Continuous Improvement – always focusing on effective and efficient work and ways to get better Develops the Future – committed to pursuing personal & professional growth and focuses on bringing colleagues along on that journey #J-18808-Ljbffr
