Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Julesburg, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM. No weekends or on-call required. Candidates should ideally be available for 5 days a week but 4-day schedules will be considered.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant will join a clinic that offers outpatient rehabilitation services. The clinic provides a variety of treatment options including cupping, dry needling, and blood flow restriction. With a focus on orthopedics, the position involves working with a diverse patient population across all ages and diagnoses, as well as servicing home health for the surrounding community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including advanced modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Experience in orthopedics is required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Colorado.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
