School Psychologist

School Psychologist Requirements Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling. School Psychologist Certificate in the state of Georgia. Valid Georgia Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times. 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Visual and auditory capacity to see and read a computer screen or printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels; speak in audible tones; understand and follow oral and written instructions. Physical capability: frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. Job Description Location(s): Atlanta, GA. Caseload and details of the position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Contract through the 2026/2027 school year - 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar. Essential Functions Consult and collaborate with school staff, parents, and outside agency personnel regarding psycho-educational needs of middle school students. Conduct assessments of children, as deemed appropriate. Promote educational success and advocate for the academic and mental needs of students. Salary $2,720 - $2,800 per week.
