Orthopaedic Surgeon Opportunity

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction to join our three established Adult Reconstruction Surgeons in our Division of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join an established total joint practice with three BC, fellowship-trained Adult Reconstruction surgeons and three Advanced Practice Providers
• Our collegial Orthopaedic Division is comprised of three fellowship trained Ortho Trauma surgeons, four fellowship-trained Hand Surgeons, three fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine surgeons, a general Orthopaedic Surgeon, three Primary Care Sports Physicians, and five surgical and office-based Podiatrists
• Dedicated clinic time at a large modern 52,000 square foot Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine building in Champaign with on-site PT/OT and well as potential for dedicated clinic time at Carle At The Riverfront campus in Danville, IL
• Block surgical opportunities at newly built 23,000 square foot Champaign Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital and new Carle At The Riverfront campus / Surgery Center in Danville
• Shared call supported by the Orthopaedic Trauma Service which has daily 0730 block time
• Opportunity for academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world's first engineering-based medical school created in partnership with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
• Potential Opportunity to develop a robotic surgery program and regional outreach
• Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed Level I Trauma Center and is the largest regional hospital in East Central Illinois
• Champaign-Urbana is a vibrant college town with a population of ~195,000 residents and is home to the Big Ten University of Illinois
• Candidates must have completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program and an Adult Reconstruction fellowship

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $700,000 - $725,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
