Certified Personal Trainer - Soho House Nashville

Main Duties Provide outstanding personal training and group training to members and hotel guests. Ensure proper use and handling of class equipment & gym equipment. Ensure safe practices of members and hotel guests while participating in trainings or classes. Accurately record, schedule, document and submit personal training sessions and group fitness classes. Assist in upholding studio cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation to Soho House standards. Report any defects of studio and class equipment. Sanitize equipment used in classes and sessions. Maintain accurate knowledge of class and session offerings, property amenities, gym services and gym products. Embrace and learn to teach specialty classes only offered at Soho House. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. Required Skills/Qualifications Nationally accredited personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NFPT, ACSM, NCSF, FM, AFAA, NSCA) 2+ years of experience in both group fitness and personal training. CPR/AED certification Basic verbal communication skills. Flexible schedule and willing to work 8+ hours a week. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Detail oriented. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Regular and reliable attendance. Physical Requirements Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 100 pounds. Demonstrate exercises as required.
