Our Mission We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisors to join our team based in Los Angeles. Our retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central to the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy, the UK, and the US, and planned openings nationwide. Your Role As the Shift Supervisor (Team Lead) your role is to create a ‘unique Italian welcoming environment’ full of warmth and friendliness for our customers visiting our store. You will support the store manager in executing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the team works effectively and customers remain at the heart of everything. Duties include selling, refilling store needs, visual merchandising, cash handling, employee coaching, processing register transactions, and more. You will work on your feet in a fast‑paced environment that requires flexibility between these duties. A key expectation is a candidate who is confident interacting with people, supports the team by example, and takes great satisfaction from knowing their high‑quality service has improved a customer’s day. In Summary Brief understanding of operational KPI’s, including sales, waste, and labor. Assist and support the store manager with day‑to‑day operational priorities. Hands‑on and willing to chip in as and when necessary. Proactive in achieving targets, executing shifts according to goals, and placing team members in the optimal positions. Open and close the store using daily checklists. Cash handling and reconciling the register daily. Maintain a clean, safe workplace and adhere to health and safety legislation. Encourage clear and engaging communication within the team and upwards. Keep the store manager aware of team performance and individual contributions. Ensure the team consistently delivers great customer service and provides the best product according to Venchi guidelines and mission statement.
