Material Handler

- Pull, stage and load building material products, may include but not limited to (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
- Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck typed including semi, box trucks and flat beds
- Assist customers with loading materials
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared
- Assist, when necessary, with hot shot deliveries using 1-Ton, 2-Ton, and Box Trucks
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs in a team lift
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Familiarity with local area
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States
- 18 Years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain a DOT Med Card
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials
- Forklift operation experience
- Familiarity with (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems
