Travel Radiology Technologist – Winchester, Virginia We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Winchester, Virginia. The position begins on 08/17/2026 and requires 40 hours per week. Job Details Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 8‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Summary The Radiology Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images, ensuring patient safety and collaborating with healthcare teams. Essential Work Functions Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the procedure room. Evaluate image quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for functionality, troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel and maintain a positive attitude. Technical/Motor Skills – Must perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures using department equipment. Mental Requirements – Must handle frequent contact with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, work with close or independent supervision, and maintain concentration on detail.
