Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Cerner proficiency, prior travel nursing experience, and a Missouri or Compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting
• Evening shift, 3x12-hour shifts (14:45–03:15)
• Every other weekend required; for night/evening rotation, weekends fall on Friday and Saturday nights
• At least 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays required per scheduling period
• No block scheduling
• Cerner EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current AHA certifications required (no pending): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC
• CPI certification will be required starting January 2026
• Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions
• Must pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher (testing focuses on lethal rhythms)
• CEU requirement must be met
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Candidates must pass an EKG competency exam on the first day of orientation — a score of 80% or higher is required, with a focus on identifying lethal rhythms
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
