About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Post-Partum experience required License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Labor and post-partum experience is required. First-timers are not accepted. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Certifications required include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP. The Nurse will assist in both labor and post-partum care. Patient ratios will be 1:3 during shifts. Travelers may be expected to float between like units. Local candidates are not accepted for this position. RTO must be included at the time of submission. The facility may call off once per two-week pay period. All responses to RTO should be made upfront during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of assignment. Two professional references covering the last three years of work experience are required. These references can include Charge Nurses or Lead Nurses. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to all assigned duties. Communication devices may be provided by the employer if required for the assignment. The acceptance of this position entails commitment to working holiday shifts. Candidates will be expected to handle various procedures and patient care duties as needed. This includes but is not limited to assisting with deliveries, recovery, and education of parents. The position involves comprehensive patient care, requiring specialized skills in obstetrics.
