Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends are required according to scheduling needs.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for the post-operative care management of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic trauma, administering blood products, and managing wound vacs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients.
• Administer blood products and monitor patient responses.
• Perform wound care and manage wound vacs.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and utilize rapid response/code teams as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license (Compact license required).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Experience with orthopedic trauma care is preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
