Senior Java Developer

Senior Java DeveloperImmediate need for a talented Senior Java Developer. This is a 11 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC / Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid).Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.Will actively work on and support application development and maintenance activities.Will participate in team discussions to understand and provide inputs to system requirements.Will drive application design activities and develop software to meet specifications.Will work with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software meet tollgate requirements.Will work with support teams to deploy software and resolve defectsKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Key skills; Microservices, Java, OraclePrimary Skill: Core JavaSecondary Skill: Angular / React, Oracle SQL / PLSQL8 years of experience with Java, Spring, OracleStrong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services, and REST APISolid understanding on OOP concepts and must have working experience in Core Java/J2EEWorking experience in Spring, HibernateWorking experience in build tools like Maven, JenkinsExcellent problem-solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challengesExperience in performing proof of concept for new technologiesGood knowledge on Agile Methodology and the Scrum process.
