Product Marketing Associate

Huckberry is looking for a highly organized, product-obsessed Product Marketing Associate to drive campaign strategy for our house brands, specifically Proof. Working inside our house brand pod structure, the Product Marketing Associate will partner directly with product and merchandising leads to turn technical product roadmaps into clear, channel-ready campaign marketing plans. 

You will have a heightened focus on Proof’s key franchises - the proven, field-tested hero styles (like the Rover Pant, 72-Hour Merino Collection, or Trail Shorts) that anchor the brand and drive the business season after season.

The ideal candidate is an outdoor enthusiast and natural project manager who can own campaigns end to end—building the plan, running the timeline, and keeping multiple workstreams moving across teams without dropping details. You can translate complex technical fabrics and performance features into compelling, outdoor- and adventure-driven customer benefits, draw actionable insights from sales and campaign data, and communicate them concisely.

This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided for remote hires.

Responsibilities

• Translate product roadmaps and seasonal adventure priorities into comprehensive omni-channel marketing campaigns
• Manage marketing plans for key franchises, defining seasonal and always-on moments to keep hero performance styles fresh
• Write clear, comprehensive marketing briefs that capture the product story, key benefits, target customer, and channel deliverables to guide Creative and channel execution
• Manage end-to-end campaign execution for product launches: build timelines, track deliverables, and proactively mitigate risks
• Act as the hub between Product, Creative, Ops, and Channels, ensuring campaigns launch on time with a cohesive technical performance story
• Build and manage product knowledge resources (fabric tech, fit guides, outdoor use cases) to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints
• Monitor outdoor apparel, adventure travel, and performance lifestyle categories to bring actionable competitive insights to the team
• Track campaign performance metrics and deliver post-launch recaps with clear recommendations to elevate future outdoor launches

Requirements

• 2–4 years of product marketing experience, ideally within outdoor apparel, performance gear, or active lifestyle brands
• An authentic connection to the adventure lifestyle and an intuitive understanding of the modern, active consumer
• Exceptionally organized with a track record of running multi-channel campaigns seamlessly across cross-functional teams (Product, Merch, Creative)
• Proven ability to translate complex technical specs and fabric science into inspiring, benefit-driven consumer narratives
• Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (e-commerce, email, performance) and the ability to turn campaign data into actionable insights
• Excellent written and verbal communicator; proficient in Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Asana)
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts quickly to shifting needs, and embraces "gear for growth" mindset
• A background in product marketing within outdoor, lifestyle apparel, or gear is strongly preferred
