Purchasing Coordinator - Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics - Base Salary to 60k/year - Houston, TX Our client is a growing manufacturing organization within the building materials and industrial wood products sector, known for producing high-quality products with a strong commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. They are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing, logistics, and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing or distribution environments who has supported procurement, vendor/supplier coordination, and inbound logistics, including international shipments. Responsibilities Create, submit, and manage purchase orders (POs) for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines Coordinate with domestic and international vendors/suppliers, including order tracking, confirmations, and issue resolution Support inbound logistics, including coordination of ocean, air, and ground shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and trucking providers Track and audit supplier pricing, lead times, and order accuracy within ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) Assist with inventory management processes, including monitoring stock levels, supporting cycle counts, and improving inventory accuracy within a plant or warehouse environment Generate, analyze, and validate reports related to purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and procurement operations Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Production, Finance, and Sales teams Qualifications Demonstrated experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, or logistics within a manufacturing or distribution environment Experience creating and managing purchase orders and working with domestic and/or international suppliers Experience coordinating inbound shipments, including working with freight forwarders, carriers, or 3PL providers (import/export exposure preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.G., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar (purchasing, procurement, or inventory modules) Compensation Base salary in the 50k - 60k/year range Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company match Paid time off and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr AllSearch Staffing Group
