Endovascular Surgery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

Join a dedicated surgical team at a leading acute care hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing complex endovascular surgical procedures.

The Endovascular Surgery Registered Nurse will play a critical role in the operating room, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality, specialized care throughout the perioperative phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during endovascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout the surgical intervention.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed by the physician.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of specialized endovascular equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and maintain a smooth workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience within an Endovascular, Cardiac, Vascular, or Thoracic Operating Room setting.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
