Salary: $115,000 - $150,000
Work Pattern: 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
About the Role
An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong transactional experience to support attorneys in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will support four partners within the Real Estate group, working particularly closely with two.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents such as contracts, leases, closing binders, and due diligence materials
- Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews
- Coordinate closings and manage post-closing documentation
- Liaise with clients, lenders, title companies, and other third parties
- Maintain accurate records and manage document databases
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and legal documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a law firm environment
