Dover, Sherborn and Dover Sherborn School Districts Pine Hill Elementary School – Sherborn, Massachusetts Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Pine Hill Elementary School is seeking Educational Assistants to work with students in grades K-5. The role involves leading individuals and small groups in support of academic and social/emotional skills, supervising lunch, break times and recess, assisting teachers with material preparation, and collecting data on student progress. Educational Assistants receive support and direction from special education and general education staff. Responsibilities Supervise, nurture and support students. Facilitate classroom activities in support of students’ academic, social/emotional and behavioral learning needs. Ensure inclusion services and accommodations are consistently provided to students per their disability-related needs. Implement and collect data for designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans. Communicate with general and special education staff regarding student progress. Supervise students in the classroom, at lunch, breaks, and during recess. Take initiative by collaborating and communicating with staff. Collect data as instructed. Qualifications Bachelor's level coursework in education or a related field. Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
