Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity to step into a highly strategic, field-based role at the intersection of science, market access, and value strategy. As an fHEOR Liaison, you’ll directly shape how payers and population health decision-makers understand and value innovative diabetes technology, translating complex clinical and economic data into meaningful, real-world impact. You’ll influence evidence generation, partner cross-functionally with senior leaders, and play a visible role in driving access and long-term growth for Omnipod and future pipeline innovations—all while building trusted, high-level relationships across the healthcare ecosystem.

The Field Health Economics & Outcomes Research Liaison (fHEOR) is a field-based scientific leader within Market Access responsible for driving payer understanding of clinical, economic, and real-world evidence (RWE) with population healthcare decision makers (e.g., payers, PBMs, GPOs).This role serves as the strategic interface between Insulet and value-based stakeholders and population health decision-makers, translating evidence into compelling value narratives while shaping evidence generation strategies, informing access priorities, and influencing payer decision-making for Omnipod and future pipeline solutions, shaping evidence priorities to support coverage, reimbursement, and long-term access strategy.Core ResponsibilitiesField-Based Scientific Exchange (Payer-Focused)Serve as the primary HEOR scientific strategic partner for payer and access stakeholdersDeliver clinical, economic, and RWE evidence supporting Insulet’s value propositionConduct peer-to-peer discussions with payers, PBMs, specialty pharmacy organizations, and GPOsTranslate complex data into clear value narratives tailored to payer decision-makingValue Communication & Access EnablementPresent health economic models, budget impact analyses, and outcomes dataSupport formulary reviews, pipeline discussions, and access negotiationsPartner with Market Access to reinforce value story and address payer evidence requirementsProvide clinical and HEOR support to account teams in strategic engagementsReal-World Evidence (RWE) & Evidence StrategyIdentify evidence gaps based on payer feedback and field insightsPartner with HEOR and Clinical teams to identify RWE and outcomes studies needsContribute to development of economic models, value dossiers, and AMCP materialsInsight Generation & Feedback LoopCapture payer insights, unmet needs, and access barriersProvide structured feedback to Market Access, HEOR, and Medical Affairs leadershipExternal Relationship DevelopmentBuild and maintain relationships with payer clinical leaders and decision-makers to drive policy decisions and credible authorityEstablish Insulet as a credible, science-driven partnerInternal Leadership & Cross-Functional PartnershipDrive alignment across Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Commercial functionsDeliver internal education on HEOR evidence and payer insightsAct as a connector between field and executive decisionsCore CompetenciesScientific credibility and communicationDeep understanding of US payer landscapeStrategic thinking and access orientationStrong stakeholder engagement capabilitiesEducation and ExperienceMinimum7+ years in pharma, biotech, or med devicePharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalentAdditional training in Health Economics, Epidemiology, or BiostatisticsExperience communicating clinical and HEOR evidenceExpertise in real-world evidence (RWE) and health economic modelsExperience in matrixed organizationsField-based experience engaging payers, PBMs, GPOsPreferredPrior roles such as Health Outcomes Liaison, Field HEOR Scientist, or Value Evidence LiaisonExperience in diabetes, endocrinology, or chronic diseaseAdditional Information:

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $165,500.00 - $248,300.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
