Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

SCHEDULE
- Shift window: 5:30 AM - 10:30 PM
- Weekend requirement: Rotating Saturdays

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

REQUIREMENTS
- NY RN License required
- Minimum 1 year dialysis experience (Outpatient chronic and acute required)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Fresenius dialysis equipment required
- EPIC experience required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide vascular access care and pre/post hemodialysis management.
- Administer blood and blood products.
- Monitor and manage common dialysis complications, including hypotension, cramps, hyperkalemia, and fluid overload.
- Recognize and respond to machine alarms and conduct dialysate conductivity testing.
- Assist in the management of cardiac arrest/CPR situations and dysrhythmia recognition.
- Implement infection control measures and standard isolation precautions.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Candidates must be within 75 miles of the facility to be considered.
- Cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of recent time off.
