Inventory Supervisor

Job Description Inventory Supervisor – Aberdeen, MD (Supply Chain Solutions). The Inventory Supervisor reports to the Logistics Manager and is responsible for tracking incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, and providing accounting support regarding inventory issues. The position also leads cycle counters and clerks. Compensation Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid twice per month Annual Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Develop and maintain inventory control systems. Develop and manage the cycle‑count and inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle programs. Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors, hourly associates, and office support to I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping personnel. Facilitate and execute the hold process for the local site. Track day‑to‑day inventory costs and communicate results to team members. Ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide necessary information and foster team cohesion. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – intermediate preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations – intermediate preferred. DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on account; intermediate preferred. APICS certification – intermediate preferred. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred. Two or more years of manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience required. Two or more years of supervisory experience required. Two or more years of PC inventory and accounting skills required. Two or more years of problem‑solving experience; use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred. Intermediate computer skills required. Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools – beginner preferred. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – intermediate preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations – intermediate preferred. DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on account; intermediate preferred. APICS certification – intermediate preferred.
