Family Nurse Practitioner - FLOAT Overview In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health's scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide high quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient settings. Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care and ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Discuss and review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses. Actively engage with clinical leadership and elevate concerns to management when appropriate. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety and cost. Ensure activities comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret results of diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications. Follow clinical practice guidelines from the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and complete E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to exceed quality of care. Adhere to the company core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care and friendliness. Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of clinic processes. Support new employee training through job shadowing, demonstration and coaching. Maintain a positive work atmosphere and professional relationships with patients, coworkers and managers. Perform physical, sensory, cognitive and environmental functions as specified in physical demands. Comply with company standards of operations and maintain business confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Have proven experience as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Responsible for on‑call periodically throughout the year (ancillary providers). Experience Requirements and Preferences Level1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner. Level2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year of experience and less than 5 years. Level3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years. Level4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience. At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice). Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). License and DEA must be active, in good standing and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; DOT certification required for FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment.
